Mathematical Thinking in Smart Cities

Smart Cities Maths

Licence professionnelle Smart Cities · Unit MTU1.1 · Semester 1 · 45 h · 3 credits · coefficient 2 · taught in English

A city is a dataset you can walk through. Streets are graphs, blocks are polygons, every bus stop is an optimisation problem. This module trains you to read the city with mathematics, then to improve it. Each week: 1h30 lecture in the amphi and 1h30 TD in groups. Every TD exercise has a twin in the street, on Google Maps or on your phone.
