Here is my educational and professional background.

From 1966 to 1972, I was a primary school student at "école de garçon" de Tikobaine, wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou. From 1972 to 1976, I was a secondary school student at the ‘Collège National d'Enseignement Technique’ in Tizi-Ouzou. From 1976 to 1979, I was a student at the Lycée Amirouche in Tizi-Ouzou, majoring in mathematics.

From 1979 to 1984, I studied mathematics and physics at the Univesristy of Tizi-Ouzou from where I received my DES (diploma of high studies) in solid state physics.

From 1984 to 1988, I prepared a master degree and a doctorate thesis in materials sciences at the university of Metz (France). I received my doctorate at the University of Metz in solid state physics in June 1988.

In September 1988, I was recruited as an assistant professor at the University of Bejaia, Algeria. From February 04, 11989 to February 24 1989, I was on military service.

From February 1989 to 1995, I continued as an assistant professor at the university of Bejaia. I got my habilitation at the University of Bejaia in solid state physics in 1995. From 1995 to 2004, I was an associate professor at the University of Bejaia. In the mean time, I spent one year (1999) at Chonbuk National University, in South Korea, as a research professor.

From 2004 to 2019, I was a university professor at University of Bejaia. During this period, in addition to my duties as a teacher-researcher, I was Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Physics Department, Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Director of the Theoretical Physics Laboratory. Since October 2019, I have joined the University of Batna 2, where I hold the position of professor and chair the Scientific Committee of the Common Core Department.
