This course deals with complex English grammar structures and sentence patterns. It begins with an introduction to the major syntactic categories and the structure of the English sentence. Each lesson from that point will center on a type of clause/phrase including (a) noun clauses/phrases , (b) adjective clauses/phrases, and (c) adverbial clauses/ phrases. The aim is to enhance students' written and spoken performances in academic settings through the correct use of such complex grammatical structures.
